Jul 08, 2014 · Hey I am about to start my 2nd batch, except this is my first time starting out with LC Jars. I was wondering if there is an alternative way to release pressure from the sterilized jars without using a syringe filter? or if not what type of stores carry syringe filters?

The short and skinny of it is that using Whatman type syringe filters on your grain jars will signifacantly slow them down, and if large enough, it seems will stall them. I'm still not 100% on if I'm going to get a complete stall or not, but it wouldn't surprise me.
