Barely anyone uses micropore tape as a filter. It's the worst filter you can possibly use as it doesn't have a guaranteed max pore size. The smarter choice would be tyvek or felt. Tyvek has a pore rating of 1micron, still pretty big compared to SFDs but it will get the job done nicely.
