Jan 06, 2010 · This is all Lipa Yai strain on WBS. All jars were knocked up on the same day, from the same multispore syringe. I realize this isn't an isolate, but the results are pretty clear. The jars with the standard polyfil/tyvek lids are much father along than the one with the rubber innoc port and Whatman filter.
Aug 20, 2012 · Only clean these plastic lids with a very soft cloth, and detergent to prevent scratches that will harbor bacteria and such. If I get a really nasty, bad contam jar with a plastic lid, sometimes It's better to recycle it for another purpose. Like a lid for a jar of screws/nuts/bolts etc. lol. There are so many options for lids/holes.

They get the generic name of "syringe filters" because they have a luer-lock and you can lock them onto a syringe to force your media through one.
