Millex ® syringe filters. Featuring reduced sample loss due to minimal hold-up volumes, Millex ® syringe filters are ideal for use in a variety of applications including HPLC sample preparation, the filtration of antibiotics and tissue culture additives, and dissolution testing.
All units contain PTFE filter membranes in plastic housings with Luer lock inlet and Luer slip outlet fittings. Units smaller than 25 mm diameter are specifically designed to minimize hold-up in filtration of small volumes. The 3-4 mm units are recommended for volumes of <1 mL; the 13 mm units are recommended for volumes of 0.5-10 mL.
