Apr 07, 2017 · Not quite how its working here the green syringe filter is not passing liquids in its current use. It merely to act as a permanent air filter to promote clean gas exchange. Other things work too, like a bandaide, or micropore tape. But, the plus side of the syringe filter is i can put the entire thing in a pressure cooker.

Feb 14, 2014 · My lids are 3/8" hole with 1" ptfe .2 micron hydrophobic filters, with a 1/8" hole smothered on both sides with red rtv silicone "gasket maker" to mechanics. Its self healing. Used my at least 10 times and haven't noticed degradation. If you want to be completely sure and using top of the stuff, USE SFD'S!

Sep 27, 2013 · Has anyone tried these PTFE Syringe filters? They work like the filter lids that MZ shows in his LC video tutorial. Anyway I was getting some more filter patch bags and I saw them for $1.50 a piece so I ordered 4 to use for my LC's.
