Jun 22, 2008 · it really won't make a huge difference, but I'd go with the 0.22 um as it will filter out EVERYTHING that might cause problems. The 0.45um are usually just used as a pre-filter before filter sterilization to reduce particle load or to remove particles prior to other methods of sterilization (such as dry heat sterilization of oils and the like).
